Το Αρχαιολογικό Μουσείο Θεσσαλονίκης εγκαινιασε το , Σάββατο 15 Ιουνίου 2013, στις 13:00, έκθεση φωτογραφίας:
“Γυμνά και Μεγάλιθοι. Στο πέρασμα του χρόνου”
O φωτογράφος και διευθυντής του κινηματογραφικού αρχείου της Νέας Υόρκης παρουσιάζει μια φωτογραφική έρευνα την οποία δουλεύει τα τελευταία 30 χρόνια.Η έκθεση παρουσιάζει σε παράλληλη αφήγηση δύο γνώριμα θέματα, το γυμνό και το τοπίο. Το ανθρώπινο σώμα ως σηματοδότης του περάσματος του χρόνου συνδιαλέγεται μορφικά με τους μεγάλιθους του Stanton Drew στην Αγγλία, ενός πολιτισμικού μνημείου, φορέα της ανθρώπινης παρουσίας και μάρτυρα ενός μακρινού παρελθόντος. Ο Robert Haller χειρίζεται το μνημείο ως ζωντανό οργανισμό και το ανθρώπινο σώμα ως τόπο συμπύκνωσης και προβολής των επιθυμιών και των αναμνήσεων, της εσώτερης φύσης μας. Η έκθεση συμπληρώνεται από το αφιέρωμα στις ταινίες της δημιουργού Amy Greenfield, παρουσιάζοντας την παράλληλη πορεία των δύο καλλιτεχνών.
Η έκθεση φιλοξενείται από το Αρχαιολογικό Μουσείο Θεσσαλονίκης και θα διαρκέσει από τις 15 Ιουνίου έως τις 15 Αυγούστου 2013.

The Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki inaugurates tomorrow, Saturday, June 15th 2013, at 1 P.M., the photography exhibition: “Across Time: Nudes and Standing Stones”
Robert Haller, photographer and director of the Anthology Film Archives of New York, presents his photographs, a research-based project of the last 30 years.The exhibition presents the parallel narrative of two often contrasting themes, nudity and landscape. The human body as a marker of the passage of time converses with the megalith formulations of Stanton Drew in England, a cultural monument which stands as a witness of a distant past. Both organic forms indicate human presence. Robert Haller handled the human body as a living monument and approached both subjects as places of concentration and as projections of our inner self, our desires and our memories. The exhibition is complemented by a film tribute to the film-maker Amy Greenfield, presenting an intertwined creative trajectory of the two artists.
The exhibition will be hosted by the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki from June, 15th until August, 15th 2013.
